Article 1 (Application)
These Terms set out the conditions for using "urara" (including the iOS app and the web browser version; collectively, the "Service"), an AI voice conversation service provided by Kazuhiro Tamura (the "Developer"). By downloading or using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 2 (Description of the Service)
The Service provides voice conversations with the AI character "Urara" using the OpenAI Realtime API. It is available as an iOS app and via web browsers.
By subscribing to a paid plan or purchasing a one-time additional-minutes pack, you can use voice calling up to the corresponding number of minutes.
The contents and prices of paid plans and packs follow the information displayed in the app, in the web version, or on the App Store. No unlimited plan is offered.
Article 3 (Age Restriction)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 or older. Users below the required age, as determined by the App Store age rating and the in-app / web age verification, may not use the Service.
You must provide accurate age information when using the Service. If a false declaration is discovered, the Developer may restrict your use.
Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)
When using the Service, you must not:
Violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals;
Solicit or facilitate illegal activity through the Service;
Attempt to manipulate the AI's responses to generate sexual, violent, or discriminatory content;
Place excessive load on the Service's systems or attempt unauthorized access;
Impersonate another person;
Engage in any other conduct the Developer reasonably deems inappropriate.
Article 5 (Disclaimer Regarding Content)
Conversations with the AI character "Urara" are automatically generated by artificial intelligence. Urara is not a real person.
The Service does not provide professional advice such as psychological counseling, medical, or legal advice. If you have serious concerns, please consult a qualified professional.
The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of the AI's responses. The AI may generate unintended or inappropriate responses.
Article 6 (Subscriptions and Payments)
Purchases of paid plans and packs are made via Apple In-App Purchase through the App Store on the iOS app, and via online card payment processed by Stripe, Inc. (through the systems of RevenueCat, Inc.) on the web version.
Subscriptions renew automatically. To cancel, use the App Store subscription management screen for purchases made in the iOS app, or the management link (customer portal) in the receipt email sent at the time of purchase for purchases made on the web version.
Refunds for purchases made in the iOS app follow Apple's refund policy. For purchases made on the web version, due to the nature of digital content, no refunds are provided after delivery has begun except where required by law. If you have particular circumstances, please contact us at the address in Article 12.
A subscription's monthly minutes are calculated from the start date or renewal date. Minutes purchased as one-time packs do not expire.
Article 7 (Suspension and Account Deletion)
If the Developer determines that you have violated these Terms, the Developer may restrict or suspend your use of the Service without prior notice.
Article 8 (Changes to or Termination of the Service)
The Developer may change the contents of the Service or terminate its provision, with prior notice to users.
Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)
The Developer shall not be liable for damages arising from your use of the Service, except in cases of the Developer's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
The Service depends on third-party services such as OpenAI. The Service may not function properly due to outages or specification changes of such third-party services.
Article 10 (Changes to These Terms)
The Developer may amend these Terms as necessary. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer's place of residence.
